South Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing ridge located east of Labrador
Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today low 998 mb located southwest of Newfoundland.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday low 993 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the North Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the South Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 AM NDT 7 September 2026 A low pressure system southwest of Newfoundland will track northeast
across Newfoundland today and move to lie over Belle Isle Bank by
overnight tonight. Strong to gale force north to northwesterlies are
expected as the low approaches south of the district.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
South Labrador Coast.
