Issued 9:30 PM NDT 30 October 2024 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight trough located over Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located on a line north-south
over Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over eastern Newfoundland.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Thursday departing ridge located east of the
Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 PM NDT 30 October 2024 A trough of low pressure approaching from the west will cross
Labrador tonight to lie over the Labrador Sea on Thursday. Strong
south to southeasterly winds ahead of the trough will increase to
gale force over most waters tonight as it approaches. Winds will
shift to strong to gale force westerlies in the wake of the trough on
Thursday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
