Newfoundland.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today low 980 mb located east of Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Monday ridge located over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:39 AM NST 25 February 2024 A low pressure system over Northern Newfoundland will track
northeastward today to lie east of the Labrador Sea by this
afternoon. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are expected behind
the low over southern waters today and tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast - Hopedale and south, and
South Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
