Issued 4:00 AM NDT 22 September 2018 Today Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today intensifying low 972 mb located west of
Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Sunday low 959 mb located over the eastern South
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 AM NDT 22 September 2018 A low pressure system approaching from the southwest will intensify
into a major fall storm as it moves across Labrador today, then
across the South Labrador Sea tonight.

Gale to storm force southeasterly to northeasterly winds will spread
across all waters today ahead of the low. Winds will shift to storm
to hurricane force southwesterly to northwesterly over all waters
behind the low tonight and Sunday.

Marine interests are advised that hurricane force wind warnings are
in effect for Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and East
Labrador Sea. Storm warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
