Issued 4:00 PM NST 29 January 2023 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Monday trough located northeast of the Marine
District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:52 PM NST 29 January 2023 A trough of low pressure over the Labrador Sea will continue to track
northeastwards tonight. Gale force northwesterlies will spread over
most waters in its wake. Winds will diminish on Monday as the trough
departs east of the marine district.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and North Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water.
