Issued 9:30 PM NST 21 January 2018 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 982 mb located over the northern
Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Monday dissipating low 998 mb located over the
central South Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 972 mb located northeast of Belle
Isle Bank.
By 10:00 a.m. NST Monday quasi-stationary low 968 mb located
southeast of Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:25 PM NST 21 January 2018 A low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will slowly
weaken as it drifts southward tonight and Monday. Meanwhile, a low
pressure system northeast of Belle Isle Bank will move to lie
southeast of Greenland by Monday morning where it will remain nearly
stationary. These systems will bring gale force northwesterlies to
western waters tonight and Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
