Greenland.
At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over northern Quebec.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NST Wednesday approaching low 978 mb located over
Hudson Strait.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:11 AM NST 16 December 2025 An intense low pressure system southeast of the Labrador Sea willmove to lie southeast of Greenland tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies behind the low will gradually diminish as a ridge of
high pressure builds in from the west.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea.
