Issued 9:30 PM NST 29 November 2023 Tonight and Thursday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 975 mb located near Hudson Strait.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Thursday departing low 977 mb located over
Baffin Island.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 984 mb located over Funk Island Bank.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Thursday departing low 972 mb located over
Baffin Island.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:07 PM NST 29 November 2023 An intense low pressure system over Funk Island Bank will track over
the Labrador Sea tonight to lie over the Northwest Labrador Sea by
Thursday afternoon. Storm to hurricane force east to southeasterlies
are expected east of the low, while gale to storm force
northwesterlies are expected west of the low.

Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for East Labrador Sea, a storm warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea, and gale warnings are in effect for all
remaining waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, the Labrador coast, and South Labrador Sea.
