Wind northeast 45 to 55 knots becoming northeast 55 early this morning except southwest 45 to 55 over southern sections. Wind becoming west 45 to 55 this afternoon then diminishing to northwest 35 after midnight. Wind diminishing to northwest 25 Friday morning then backing to west 20 Friday afternoon except light over southern sections.

Periods of rain or snow changing to showers or flurries near noon and ending Friday morning. Fog patches dissipating this afternoon.

Issued 4:00 AM NDT 1 October 2020 Today Tonight and Friday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today low 965 mb located over northern Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Friday low 975 mb located west of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough from low located on a line east-west
over Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT today departing trough from low located east of
the Marine District.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 AM NDT 1 October 2020 An intense low pressure system over Northern Labrador will cross the
Labrador Sea today. Gale to storm force east to northeasterlies ahead
of the low will shift to gale to storm force west to southwesterlies
in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
the Mid Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, and Labrador Sea.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.
