Issued 9:30 PM NST 23 January 2026 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 980 mb located north of the Northwest
Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday departing low 989 mb located northwest
of the Northwest Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 980 mb located southeast
of Greenland.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Saturday low 970 mb located over the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:28 PM NST 23 January 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Greenland will approach the
district from the east on Saturday. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies are expected to develop west of the low over most
waters through the day on Saturday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and North Labrador Coast - Saglek and
south.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water except East Labrador Sea.
