By 4:00 p.m. NST Wednesday trough located over the South Labrador
Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located over eastern Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today dissipating ridge located over the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM NST 5 March 2024 A trough of low pressure will approach from the west tonight and
intensify over the Labrador Sea on Wednesday. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies are expected to develop over most waters in its wake
on Wednesday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Labrador coast and South Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
