northeast-southwest over Belle Isle Bank.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:18 PM NST 8 December 2022 A trough of low pressure will remain nearly stationary over Central
Labrador through the forecast period while a ridge of high pressure
sits southeast of the marine district. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies will persist between these two features.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea - southeastern half and East Labrador Sea.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast, North Labrador Coast, and Northwest
Labrador Sea - northwestern half.
