Issued 9:30 AM NDT 21 May 2026 Today Tonight and Friday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today low 986 mb located over northern Belle
Isle Bank.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday low 984 mb located east of Belle Isle Bank.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line north-south over
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday trough located on a line east-west over
the South Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:19 AM NDT 21 May 2026 A low pressure system over Belle Isle Bank will move east today to
sit southeast of the region tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies over southern waters will persist behind it.

Meanwhile, a trough extending from the low will sweep westward then
southward across the Labrador Sea today and tonight. Strong to gale
force northerlies to northwesterlies ahead of the trough veer to
strong to gale force easterlies to northeasterlies as it passes.
Winds will then back to the northwest as the trough moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters.
