Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NDT 16 September 2021 Tonight and Friday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 994 mb located over the Northwest
Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Friday departing low 996 mb located east of
Cape Farewell.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT Friday approaching low 986 mb located over
Hudson Bay.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 PM NDT 16 September 2021 A low pressure system will continue eastward across the Northern
Labrador Sea this evening. Strong to gale force west to
northwesterlies will develop over most waters in the wake of the low.

A second low is expected to cross Northern Quebec from the west on
Friday. Gale force westerlies will develop over northern waters late
in the day on Friday as the low nears Cape Chidley.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
