Issued 9:30 PM NST 11 November 2025 Tonight and Wednesday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight dissipating low 983 mb located overwestern Labrador.
At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight deepening low 981 mb located northeast
of Cape Breton Island.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Wednesday weakening low 962 mb located near the
Torngat Mountains.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:18 PM NST 11 November 2025 Strong to gale force southeasterlies will continue this eveningacross most waters associated with a dissipating low over Western
Labrador.
A second low pressure system near Cape Breton Island will rapidly
deepen as it tracks northward through the Gulf of St. Lawrence
tonight. The low will begin to weaken on Wednesday as it continues
northward through Labrador. Wind will increase to gale to storm force
southeasterlies ahead of this low before shifting to strong to gale
force south to southwesterlies in its wake late in the day on
Wednesday.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Lake Melville, North Labrador Coast, and Northwest
Labrador Sea - western half, where gale warnings are in effects.
