Issued 9:30 AM NST 11 December 2017 Today Tonight and Tuesday At 9:30 a.m. NST today low 957 mb located southeast of the East
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing low 958 mb located east of
Greenland.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today intensifying trough located on a line
east-west over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Tuesday trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the South Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:29 AM NST 11 December 2017 A low pressure system departing southeast of the Labrador Sea will
move to lie east of Greenland this evening. Gale force
northwesterlies can be expected today behind this low.

A trough of low pressure developing over the Northwest Labrador Sea
this morning will strengthen throughout the day. Strong to gale force
southwesterlies to the south of the trough will shift to strong to
gale force northwesterlies in its wake.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
