Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM NST 7 March 2025 Tonight and Saturday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight intensifying low 966 mb located over the
Quebec Lower North Shore.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Saturday low 951 mb located northeast of Lake
Melville.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM NST 7 March 2025 A low pressure system over the Quebec Lower North Shore will
intensify as it tracks northeastward to lie near Rigolet on Saturday
afternoon. Strong to gale force southeast to northeasterlies ahead of
the low will strengthen to gale to storm force south to
southeasterlies on Saturday as the low approaches the marine district
and intensifies.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, and the Labrador Sea.
Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining waters.

Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for Northwest Labrador Sea.
