Issued 4:00 PM NST 24 February 2018 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NST today quasi-stationary low 963 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today trough located on a line northeast-southwest
over the South Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday departing trough located southeast of the
Marine District.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located over Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Sunday ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 PM NST 24 February 2018 An intense low pressure system nearly stationary just off the
southeastern coast of Greenland will gradually weaken through the
forecast period. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure over the South
Labrador Sea will sweep southeastward to exit the marine district by
Sunday morning. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will diminish
tonight and Sunday as a ridge builds in from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
