By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 994 mb located southeast of the
Marine District.
At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight ridge located over western Quebec.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located on a line north-south over
western Labrador.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:17 PM NDT 12 May 2025 A low pressure system over the Belle Isle Bank will track slowlyeastwards away from the district tonight and Tuesday. Strong to gale
force northwesterlies in the wake of the low will gradually diminish
as the low moves away.
Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador
Sea, and Northwest Labrador Sea.
