over the North Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over western Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today low 994 mb located over Belle Isle Bank.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday low 990 mb located southeast of
Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today dissipating trough located on a line
northeast-southwest over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 4:00 AM NDT 8 September 2026 A low pressure system over the Belle Isle Bank will continue
northeastward to lie southeast of Greenland by overnight tonight.
Strong to gale force north to northwesterlies are expected over most
waters in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
South Labrador Coast.
