Issued 4:00 PM NST 7 February 2026 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NST today weakening low 992 mb located over the Mid
Labrador Coast.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday dissipating low located over Labrador Coast.

At 4:00 a.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line east-west over
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST Sunday trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:53 PM NST 7 February 2026 A low pressure system over the Mid Labrador Coast will slowly move
westward and dissipate by Sunday morning. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies to the west of the low will diminish as it
dissipates.

A trough of low pressure will develop over the Labrador Sea tonight
and track westward on Sunday. Strong to gale force easterlies will
persist east of the trough throughout the forecast period as a
result.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Mid Labrador Coast.
