Issued 4:00 PM NST 10 December 2019 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeastover the East Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NST today deepening low 983 mb located over the Mid
Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Wednesday low 965 mb located over the East
Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:50 PM NST 10 December 2019 A low pressure system over the Mid Labrador Coast will continue todeepen as it moves to lie over the Labrador Sea this evening and then
slowly move eastward on Wednesday. Strong to gale force east to
southeasterlies ahead of the low will shift to gale to storm force
westerlies behind it.
Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast, Mid Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, and
Northwest Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except South Labrador Sea - northern half,
Northwest Labrador Sea, and East Labrador Sea.
