Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 9:30 PM NST 4 January 2025 Tonight and Sunday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight quasi-stationary trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Northwest Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST Sunday approaching low 949 mb located over the
southwestern Grand Banks.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:21 PM NST 4 January 2025 A low pressure system will approach from the south on Sunday. Strong
to gale force northeasterlies to easterlies are expected to spread
across southern waters late on Sunday north of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except North Labrador Coast and Northwest Labrador Sea.
