Issued 4:00 PM NDT 22 March 2025 Tonight and Sunday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 982 mb located over western Newfoundland.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Sunday low 975 mb located over central Labrador
Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today departing low 997 mb located east of
Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:58 PM NDT 22 March 2025 A low pressure system will continue to approach the marine district
from the south tonight and will track into the Labrador Sea on Sunday
where it will remain nearly stationary. Strong to gale force
northeasterly winds will continue over most waters ahead of the low
tonight. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are expected west of
the low on Sunday, with strong to gale force southeasterlies east of
it.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and North Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
