District.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Friday low 972 mb located east of Greenland.

By 9:30 a.m. NST Friday intensifying trough located over the South
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight weakening ridge located over western
Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 AM NST 21 February 2019 An intense low pressure system east of the marine district will
maintain strong to gale force northwesterlies today, tonight and
Friday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
