Issued 4:00 AM NDT 26 September 2018 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today ridge located over the East Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT today departing ridge located east of the Marine
District.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today deepening low 1000 mb located over eastern
Ontario.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Thursday deepening low 977 mb located over
northern Labrador.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough located over Cape Chidley.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing trough located north of
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:54 AM NDT 26 September 2018 A low pressure system over Ontario will intensify as it approaches
the marine district today. Strong to gale force southerly to
southwesterly winds will spread across all waters ahead of the low
tonight. Winds will further strengthen to storm force southwesterly
to westerly over northern waters on Thursday as the low crosses the
Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters.
