Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NST 29 November 2020 Tonight and Monday At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over central Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NST tonight dissipating ridge located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NST today intensifying low located over Funk Island
Bank.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Monday low 975 mb located 160 miles south of
Cape Farewell.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 PM NST 29 November 2020 An intensifying low pressure system over the Funk Island Bank will
move to lie east of the region tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies will develop tonight or early Monday as the low
nears.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador coast.
