Issued 4:00 PM NST 24 November 2017 Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 p.m. NST today deepening low 976 mb located over the
Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Saturday departing low 980 mb located off Baffin
Island.

At 4:00 a.m. NST Saturday low 985 mb located over western Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Saturday low 987 mb located west of Labrador.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 PM NST 24 November 2017 A low pressure system over the Northwest Labrador Sea will track
northwestwards to lie off Baffin Island Saturday morning. Gale to
storm force southeasterlies over northeastern waters will diminish to
strong to gale force southwesterlies as the low moves out of the
district tonight. Strong to gale force west to northwesterlies over
western waters will diminish on Saturday as the low departs.

A second low will approach from the west on Saturday. Gale force
southerlies will develop ahead of this system over southernmost
waters on Saturday night.

Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
the East Labrador Sea - northeastern half. Gale warnings are in
effect for all remaining waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except the East Labrador Sea.
