the East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today ridge located over the East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NST today trough located over northern Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Sunday trough located over Ungava Bay.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:14 AM NST 22 January 2022 A low pressure system southeast of the East Labrador Sea will
continue to track southeastward today. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies behind the low will diminish to strong near noon
today.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for
East Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water.
