Issued 4:00 AM NST 14 January 2026 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. NST today low 968 mb located southeast of Greenland.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today departing low 971 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today trough from low located on a line east-west
over Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 p.m. NST today departing trough located southeast of the
East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NST today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Thursday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 AM NST 14 January 2026 A low pressure system southeast of Greenland will continue tracking
eastward away from the marine district today. A trough extending from
the low over the Labrador Sea will move southeastward and depart the
area with the low. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will diminish
today as the system departs.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all regions with open water except East Labrador Sea.
