Issued 9:30 PM NST 15 November 2018 Tonight and Friday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight low 954 mb located east of Funk Island
Bank.
By 9:30 a.m. NST Friday departing low 958 mb located southeast
of Greenland.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight ridge located on a line north-south over
western Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Friday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Coast.

At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight intensifying trough located off Greenland.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:20 PM NST 15 November 2018 A powerful low pressure system east of Funk Island Bank will continue
eastward through the forecast period. Meanwhile, a trough of low
pressure is expected to intensify off the coast of Greenland tonight
and Friday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies are expected over
all waters in the wake of the low tonight. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies will persist on Thursday for offshore waters in
response to the trough.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville and North Labrador Coast.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for Lake Melville, South Labrador Coast, and Mid Labrador
Coast.
