Issued 9:30 AM NDT 3 April 2025 Today Tonight and Friday At 9:30 a.m. NDT today low 983 mb located over the southern East
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday departing low 991 mb located northeast of
the East Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over western Labrador.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:26 AM NDT 3 April 2025 An intense low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will track
northwards today before departing the district tonight. Gale to storm
force north to northwesterlies will diminish to strong
northwesterlies today and tonight in the wake of the low.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
South Labrador Sea and East Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters except Lake Melville.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for the Labrador Sea.
