Wind veering to southwest 25 to 35 overnight then becoming southwest 25 near noon Thursday. Wind diminishing to southwest 15 Thursday evening.

Rain ending near noon. Showers or flurries tonight and Thursday morning. Fog patches dissipating this morning.

Temperatures plus 5 falling to zero overnight.

Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 AM NST 12 November 2025 Today Tonight and Thursday At 4:00 a.m. NST today deepening low 967 mb located over the North
Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Thursday weakening low 970 mb located over the
North Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 AM NST 12 November 2025 An intense low pressure system over the Quebec Lower North Shore will
continue deepen today as it tracks into Labrador. Tonight and
Thursday the low is expected to begin to weaken as it continues
northward towards Baffin Island. Gale to storm force south to
southeasterlies are expected today with this low before diminishing
to strong to gale force south to southwesterlies on Thursday as the
low begins to pull away.

Marine interests are advised that storm warnings are in effect for
all waters except Lake Melville, North Labrador Coast, and Northwest
Labrador Sea - western half, where gale warnings are in effects.
