By 4:00 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing trough located south of
Cape Farewell.

At 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight low 993 mb located over Hudson Bay.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT Wednesday low 978 mb located over the Northwest
Labrador Sea.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today ridge located over Quebec.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line
northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:19 AM NDT 22 October 2024 A trough of low pressure located over the coast of Greenland will
move to lie south of cape Farewell by tonight. Strong to gale force
west to northwesterly winds will diminish to light to moderate as the
trough moves away.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea - southern half.
