Technical Marine Synopsis

Issued 4:00 PM NDT 13 October 2026 Tonight and Wednesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 978 mb located southeast of Greenland.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Wednesday departing low 931 mb located east
of Greenland.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located west of Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Wednesday ridge located on a line north-south
over the Northwest Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:56 PM NDT 13 October 2026 An intense low pressure system southeast of Greenland will slowly
track eastward through tonight and Wednesday. At the same time, a
ridge of high pressure will approach from the west to cross the
Labrador Sea on Wednesday. Strong to gale force northwesterlies will
persist over most waters tonight between these features.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast and the Labrador Sea.
