Issued 6:47 PM MDT 20 October 2019 Blizzard conditions developing in Lancaster Sound overnight Sunday. These conditions are expected to persist until early Tuesday morning.

Discussion:

30 kt winds have developed in Lancaster Sound and are expected to increase to 40-45 kt overnight. These winds, along with falling snow, will produce blizzard conditions which are forecast to persist until the winds begin to taper off early Tuesday morning.
