Issued 4:00 PM NDT 28 April 2025 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today low 997 mb located north of the East
Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 p.m. NDT tonight departing low 1000 mb located northeast
of Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located over central Labrador.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday ridge located east of the East Labrador
Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday approaching low 987 mb located north of
Cape Chidley.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:49 PM NDT 28 April 2025 A low pressure system north of the marine district will slowly track
eastward and weaken tonight. Over northern waters, gale force west to
northwesterlies will gradually diminish this evening as the low
weakens.

A second low will approach the marine district from the west tonight.
Strong to gale force southerlies will develop over most waters on
Tuesday ahead of the low.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast, South Labrador Sea, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea - northern half.

Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for South Labrador Sea and Northwest Labrador Sea.
