Newfoundland.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday low 977 mb located east of Funk Island Bank.

At 9:30 a.m. NDT today trough located on a line north-south over
the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 9:30 a.m. NDT Friday trough located east of the East Labrador
Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:17 AM NDT 15 October 2026 A deepening low pressure system will pass southeast of the district
later today and Friday. Meanwhile, a trough of low pressure will move
eastward across the Labrador Sea today and tonight. Strong to gale
force northerlies to northwesterlies will develop in the wake of
these features this evening.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except Lake Melville.
