Issued 4:00 PM NDT 5 October 2026 Tonight and Tuesday At 4:00 p.m. NDT today deepening low 996 mb located over Quebec.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Tuesday low 979 mb located over the Quebec Lower
North Shore.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today ridge located on a line northwest-southeast
over the East Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Tuesday departing ridge located east of the East
Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:51 PM NDT 5 October 2026 A low pressure system will continue to approach from the southwest
tonight and track over the Quebec Lower North Shore late in the day
on Tuesday. Strong to gale force northeasterlies to easterlies will
develop ahead of the low tonight.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for all
waters except North Labrador Coast, and Northwest Labrador Sea -
northern half.
