Greenland.
At 4:00 p.m. NST today ridge located on a line north-south over
Labrador.
By 4:00 a.m. NST Friday dissipating ridge located on a line
north-south over the East Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 a.m. NST Friday approaching trough located over the
Torngat Mountains.
Marine Weather Statement
Issued 3:44 PM NST 26 December 2024 A low pressure system east of Greenland will depart to the east thisevening. Meanwhile, a ridge over Labrador will slowly drift eastward
to lie over the Labrador Sea by this evening. Strong to gale force
northwesterlies between these features will diminish this evening as
the low departs.
Marine interests are advised that a gale and freezing spray warning
is in effect for the East Labrador Sea.
