Issued 4:00 AM NDT 20 September 2019 Today Tonight and Saturday At 4:00 a.m. NDT today quasi-stationary low 980 mb located near
Baffin Island.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today trough from low located over the North
Labrador Coast.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over eastern Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 a.m. NDT today building ridge located over northwestern
Ontario.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Saturday ridge located on a line
northeast-southwest over the Mid Labrador Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:46 AM NDT 20 September 2019 A trough of low pressure extending southward from a low over Baffin
Island will sweep across the district today. Strong to gale force
southeasterlies ahead of the trough will shift to strong to gale
force west to northwesterlies in its wake. Winds will persist tonight
and Saturday for most waters as the flow remains strong between the
low to the north and a ridge building in from the west.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for
North Labrador Coast - north of Saglek, Northwest Labrador Sea, and
East Labrador Sea.
