Issued 9:30 PM NST 17 January 2021 Tonight and Monday At 9:30 p.m. NST tonight trough located on a line
northwest-southeast over Newfoundland.
By 4:00 p.m. NST Monday trough located on a line northwest-southeast
over the South Labrador Sea.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:10 PM NST 17 January 2021 A trough of low pressure approaching from the southwest will cross
the Labrador Sea on Monday. Strong to gale force southeasterlies will
develop ahead of the trough tonight. Winds will diminish to a strong
southeasterly in the wake of the trough for most areas on Monday.

Marine interests are advised that gale warnings are in effect for the
Labrador Sea.
