Marine Weather Statement
Issued 9:16 AM NST 12 December 2024 A low pressure system over Quebec will rapidly deepen as it tracksnorthward today to lie over Ungava Bay by this evening. Strong to
gale force southeast to southwesterlies will develop over all waters
today. Winds will further strengthen to gale to storm force
easterlies over northwestern waters this evening.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea - northern half. Gale warnings are in effect
for all remaining waters.
Marine interests are also advised that a freezing spray warning is in
effect for North Labrador Coast.
