the East Labrador Sea.
At 4:00 p.m. NDT today trough from 961 mb low located on a line
east-west over the Northwest Labrador Sea.
By 4:00 a.m. NDT Monday trough located on a line north-south over
the East Labrador Sea.
Marine Weather StatementIssued 3:40 PM NDT 23 September 2018 An intense low pressure system over the East Labrador Sea will remain
nearly stationary and slowly weaken. A trough extending from the low
into the Northwest Labrador Sea will pivot around the low tonight.
Storm to hurricane force west to southwesterlies south of the trough
will shift to gale force northwesterlies in its wake. Winds will
diminish to strong to gale force northwesterly on Monday as the low
Marine interests are advised that a hurricane force wind warning is
in effect for East Labrador Sea. A storm warning is in effect for the
South Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
