northwest-southeast over the East Labrador Sea.

At 4:00 p.m. NDT today trough located over the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
By 4:00 p.m. NDT Thursday trough located over Lake Melville.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:41 PM NDT 9 October 2024 A trough of low pressure over the Gulf of St. Lawrence will approach
the marine district from the south on Thursday. Strong to gale force
easterlies will spread over southern waters ahead of the trough.

Marine interests are advised that a gale warning is in effect for the
South Labrador Sea.
