Marine Weather StatementIssued 9:36 PM NST 5 December 2021 An intense low pressure system over the Davis Strait will continue
northwards tonight and Monday while gradually weakening. Gale to
storm force westerlies will diminish to strong to gale force tonight
as the low moves away.
Marine interests are advised that a storm warning is in effect for
Northwest Labrador Sea. Gale warnings are in effect for all remaining
waters except Lake Melville and South Labrador Coast.
Marine interests are also advised that freezing spray warnings are in
effect for all waters except East Labrador Sea.
