Issued 4:07 PM CST 20 January 2026 Blizzard conditions with poor visibility in snow and blowing snow are expected.Hazard: Poor visibilities in blowing snow.
Location: Lake Winnipeg North Basin
Timing: Beginning early Wednesday through Wednesday afternoon.
Remarks: A strong cold front surging south through the province will give strong northwest winds with gusts of 70 to 80 km/h beginning early Wednesday morning. These winds will combine with light snow to produce near-zero visibility in blowing snow through the day. Conditions will improve by Wednesday evening.
