Issued 04:35 AM CST 30 January 2023 Air temperatures in the minus 30 to 35 degree range combined with 10 to 20 km/h winds will produce extreme wind chill values of minus 40 to minus 45 this morning. In eastern Saskatchewan, extreme wind chill values will moderate today and may be borderline to meet extreme cold criteria tonight.
In Manitoba, extreme wind chill values will moderate slightly during the day today. Tonight will be close in many regions for whether or not extreme cold criteria will be met, or will be just slightly warmer. Extreme cold puts everyone at risk.

Cover up. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin, especially with wind chill.
If it's too cold for you to stay outside, it's too cold for your pet to stay outside.
