By 4:00 a.m. PDT Friday weakening low located over Cape Scott.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT tonight ridge located on a line northeast-southwest
over northern Bowie.
By 9:30 p.m. PDT Friday ridge located on a line north-south over
Haida Gwaii.

At 9:30 p.m. PDT Friday approaching frontal system located west
of Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 9:14 PM PDT 1 October 2026 A low crossing Explorer tonight will weaken over Cape Scott Friday
morning.

Ahead of the low, gale force southeast winds over west coast
Vancouver Island will ease to strong late this evening.
