extending southwestward.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today departing cold front located over the
South Coast.

By 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located over the offshore waters.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:20 AM PST 28 February 2024 A cold front will track southwards across Southern Vancouver Island
this afternoon and across the Southern Strait of Georgia this
evening.

Ahead of the front, southwest gales over west coast Vancouver Island
will shift to moderate to strong westerlies in its wake today.

For the inner South Coast waters, strong southerlies will weaken with
the passage of the front this evening.
