Wind southeast 25 to 35 knots except southeast 50 northwest of Estevan Point near noon and southeast 40 northwest of Estevan Point late this afternoon. Wind becoming south 25 early this evening then veering to southwest 15 to 25 late this evening. Wind veering to northwest 15 to 25 late overnight then backing to westerly 10 to 20 near noon Monday.

Rain changing to scattered showers overnight and ending Monday afternoon. Rain Monday evening. Visibility 1 mile or less in rain.

Issued 10:30 AM PST 9 November 2025 Today Tonight and Monday At 10:30 a.m. PST today frontal system located over western
Haida Gwaii.
By 4:00 p.m. PST today weakening frontal system located from Hecate
Strait to Cape St. James then to Explorer.

At 10:30 a.m. PST today weakening ridge located over southern
BC interior.

At 9:30 p.m. PST tonight trough located west of the offshore waters.
By 10:30 a.m. PST Monday trough located over Bowie.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:31 AM PST 9 November 2025 An intense frontal system continues to generate gale to storm force
southeasterly winds late this morning over northern and central
waters. Winds will gradually subside to westerly moderate to strong
this afternoon.

A brief period of marginal southeasterly gales is expected over
northern sections of the Strait of Georgia late this morning and this
afternoon.
