Wind becoming northwest 25 to 35 Wednesday evening except southeast 15 near the coast south of Tofino.

northeast-southwest over Bowie.

At 10:30 a.m. PDT today weakening trough located over southern
Explorer.
By 4:00 p.m. PDT today dissipating trough located over southern
Explorer.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:21 AM PDT 21 April 2026 A ridge of high pressure over Bowie will remain nearly stationary
over the next few days and is expected to strengthen from this
afternoon through Wednesday.

Strong to gale force northerly winds will persist over the central
waters today, spreading to the southern waters tonight. These winds
are expected to continue through Wednesday.

Gale force westerly winds will also develop over the Central and
Eastern Juan de Fuca Strait late this afternoon, easing overnight.
