Wind becoming northwest 15 to 25 after midnight except northwest 30 northwest of Estevan Point overnight. Wind becoming west 10 to 20 Monday afternoon then backing to southwest 10 to 20 Monday evening.

northeast-southwest over central Haida Gwaii.
By 5:00 p.m. PDT Monday weakening ridge from high located on a
line north-south over northern Vancouver Island.

At 5:00 p.m. PDT Monday cold front located on a line east-west
over northern Haida Gwaii.
By midnight PDT Monday cold front located on a line
northeast-southwest over southern Hecate Strait.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 10:26 AM PDT 12 April 2026 A ridge axis over Northern Haida Gwaii will shift southeastward
today. Northwesterly winds off the west coast Vancouver Island will
strengthen to marginal gale force wind late this evening.
